Bob Boulton – Master Thatcher

Bob started training as a Thatcher in 1978. Just six years later in 1984 he became qualified as a Master Thatcher. He is proficient and experienced in all types of thatching material and active in various Master Thatcher associations.

In his own time Bob is a keen and talented rugby player and supporter and has been an integral part of Hungerford Rugby Football Club in his home town.

Mark Boulton – Thatcher

Mark is married to Carole and they have 2 children Isla and Travis, also 2 dogs Rico and Gus.

Mark is a keen rugby player having represented Berkshire and captained Hungerford for the last 2 years.

Mark became part of the payroll in Jan 1998 when he started his formal training at Knuston Hall, but in reality Mark has been coming to work with his Dad since a small lad. When he went to school to earn pocket money he would work after school and week-ends giving him a ingrained skill level.
